Ways to get started
However you come in, we'll make sure the practical side is clear before your first session.
Self-referral
Book directly without a referral if you're paying privately. No GP letter, no paperwork — just reach out and we'll take it from there.
Mental Health Care Plan
To access Medicare rebates you'll need a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP or psychiatrist. This entitles you to up to 10 rebated sessions per calendar year.
Extras cover
If you have extras cover you may be able to claim a rebate through your fund. Worth confirming your entitlements before your first appointment.
NDIS participants
NDIS self-managed and plan-managed funding can be discussed. Get in touch and we'll confirm what's needed from your plan.
From anywhere
Telehealth appointments offer a flexible way to access support from a familiar, comfortable environment.
15-minute consultation
A complimentary phone call to discuss your needs and work out whether this is the right fit. No obligation.
What the assessment process involves
ADHD and autism assessments are available for an additional fee, separate to regular therapy sessions. The process typically involves 3 to 4 sessions, including one 90-minute session that is not Medicare rebateable.
Background & history
Initial sessions to gather background, history and current presentation.
Structured assessment
A 90-minute session for structured assessment. This session is not Medicare rebateable.
Scoring & report
Scoring, interpretation and preparation of a written psychology report.
Feedback session
The report is discussed, including whether DSM-5 criteria for a neurodevelopmental profile are met.
Please note
Medication is not prescribed as part of this service. Where medication is being considered for ADHD, that requires a separate pathway — for example via a psychiatrist or paediatrician — which isn't available within these services.
Fees are discussed transparently at the time of booking, and vary according to need, complexity and whether multiple presentations are involved.
