ADHD & ASD Assessments

What the assessment process involves

ADHD and ASD assessments are available for an additional fee, separate to standard therapy sessions. The process typically involves 3 to 4 sessions, including one 90-minute session that is not Medicare rebateable.

  • 01
Initial sessions to gather background, history and current presentation
  • 02
A 90-minute session (not Medicare rebateable) for structured assessment
  • 03
Scoring, interpretation and preparation of a written psychology report
  • 04
Final session — the report is discussed, including whether DSM-5 criteria for a neurodevelopmental profile are met
Please note: medication is not prescribed as part of this service. Where medication is being considered for ADHD, this requires a separate assessment pathway (e.g. via a psychiatrist or paediatrician) which is not available within our services.
$2,000 – $4,000 total cost, depending on complexity and whether multiple presentations are involved

Ways to get started

Self-Referral

You are welcome to book directly without a referral if you are paying privately. No GP letter or paperwork required — just reach out and we'll take it from there.
