Coral Psychology — Wangara, Perth WA

Welcome to Coral Psychology.

I'm Hebba Morcos, Registered Psychologist — with over a decade of experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families. I work from a warm, practical place — my goal is for you to feel genuinely understood, not just assessed.

A lot of the people I see have been carrying something for a while without quite knowing what it is, or knowing what it is but not knowing what to do about it. Either way, that's a good place to start.

A bit about me

Why I do this work

"I was drawn to psychology because of what it feels like to be genuinely understood — not just heard, but really seen."

That experience of being truly met by another person is something I've come to believe is quietly foundational to change. It's what I try to bring to every session.

I work with a lot of people who have spent years trying to make sense of themselves through frameworks that never quite fit. I know what that's like — my understanding of neurodiversity is shaped by both professional experience and my own late ADHD diagnosis. That gives me a different kind of attentiveness to the things that get missed.

My approach is warm, direct and practical. I'm not someone who lets you sit in silence and waits for an insight — I'm actively alongside you. We'll look at what's happening, make sense of it together, and work toward something that actually changes how your day-to-day feels.

More about me

I can help if you're…

  • Feeling anxious, overwhelmed or like you can't switch off
  • Wondering if you might have ADHD — or recently found out you do
  • A woman who's been told you're "too sensitive" or "too much"
  • A parent worried about your child and not sure where to turn
  • Going through a major life change and feeling lost in it
  • Carrying something heavy from the past that keeps showing up
  • Struggling in your relationships or feeling disconnected
  • Burned out and running on empty
  • Just wanting to talk to someone who will actually listen
How it works

What to expect from the start

01

Get in touch

Send me an email or book a free 15-minute phone call. It's a relaxed conversation — no pressure, no forms to fill in first. We'll talk about what's brought you here and whether I'm the right fit.

02

First session

The first session is 50 minutes. It's mostly about me getting to know you — what's been going on, a bit of background, and what you're hoping for. You don't need to have it all worked out before you come.

03

Ongoing sessions

From there we work together at a pace that suits you — weekly or fortnightly, for as long as feels useful. Some people come for a few sessions. Others stay longer. There's no set timeline.

04

Practical, not just reflective

Sessions are a mix of making sense of things and figuring out what to do differently. The goal is always that what happens in the room starts to change something outside of it.

Good to know

Practical information

Everything you need to know before taking the next step. Still have questions? Reach out — I'm happy to help.

Session fees are listed on the fees page. Medicare rebates are available if you have a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP — this reduces the out-of-pocket cost significantly. NDIS funding is also accepted. A free 15-minute consultation is available before you commit to anything.
You don't need a referral to book a session. However, if you want to access Medicare rebates, you'll need a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP first. I'm happy to explain how that works — just ask.
Yes — I offer telehealth sessions for adults across Australia. In-person sessions are available at the practice in Wangara, WA. Some assessment services may require in-person attendance depending on the type of assessment.
The free 15-minute call is exactly for this. It's a low-pressure way to get a sense of how I work and whether it feels right. There's no obligation. If I'm not the right fit, I'll do my best to point you toward someone who is.
I ask for at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may incur a fee. Life happens — if something comes up, please just let me know as early as you can.
Yes. Everything discussed in sessions is confidential, with a small number of exceptions required by law — such as if there is a serious risk of harm to you or someone else. If you've been referred by a GP, I'll provide a brief progress summary as required under Medicare. We can talk through what that involves at any time.
